Breyer - The "Gangsters"
he sport of combined driving showcases the athleticism and skill of driving horses and ponies in three phases: dressage, marathon, and cones. Small in size but not talent, Classic American Shetland Bugsy Maloney and Shetland/Welsh cross Tony Da Pony compete with owner Mary Phelps in the top level of combined driving: FEI Advanced. Nicknamed the “Gangsters” for their playful names, their size allows them to make moves inside obstacles that larger ponies cannot.
